Orlando, FL – May 17, 2009: Appulate, Inc. received the ACORD Innovation Award at the 2009 ACORD / LOMA conference. Dimitri Nikouline, Appulate’s Chief Technology Officer, graciously accepted the award at a lunch ceremony on Sunday.
“It is a tremendous honor to receive this award”, said Nikouline. The award recognizes Appulate for its innovative Uplink™ technology. Uplink™ is a virtual print driver that allows the agent to send data from their management system and converts the data into the ACORD XML standard.
“Our technology takes advantage of the incredible work ACORD and all of its members have done to create industry standards”, commented Nikouline. To date, more than 2000 retail agents are using Uplink™ to bridge data found in their agency management systems with various carrier, MGA and wholesale broker applications, portals and rating technologies.
