Appulate solution bridges agent / broker submission data to help Guidewire clients improve connectivity to their distribution partners.
Westlake Village, CA; Appulate, Inc., the leading middleware solution for the property and casualty sector of the insurance industry, announced that it’s Guidewire PolicyCenter extension is now available in the Guidewire Marketplace.
Appulate offers enhanced agency/broker connection capabilities through its Appulate Forms AI™ solution. This AI-powered document ingestion engine can extract data from any insurance document, including handwritten and non-standard forms, and upload that data into PolicyCenter with the extension.
For more than 20 years, Appulate has provided versatile middleware products that bridge data from an agent/broker’s internal management system to an insurer’s platform to more easily streamline the submission process.
Today, retail agents collect data using industry standards developed by ACORD, a non-profit group, that covers 90 percent of property and casualty business lines. Despite this, agency management systems and insurers continue to face unavoidable data sharing and communication challenges. Appulate aims to help resolve this through its Guidewire extension, developed from its inclusion in the Guidewire PartnerConnect program.
“The industry has been vocal about the need to increase connectivity and move data more seamlessly between stakeholders. Guidewire PolicyCenter users can now have access to Appulate’s highly regarded capabilities directly within their workflow,” said Jeff Harris, Chief Executive Officer at Appulate. “Our collaboration with Guidewire has created a very powerful and valuable solution,” he added.
